    Questions on Certificate of Discharge

    I recently acquired this Certificate of Discharge as part of a grouping to a Bordschutze who served in Kampfgeschwader 77.

    My question concerns the writing on the reverse side, can anyone translate and explain the entries/comments written?

    All help will as always be very well received indeed.

    He received a "Raucherkarte" (voucher for cigaretts), a "Reichsseifenkarte" (voucher for soap) and "Reisemarken" (vouchers for travelling people)

      Thank you for that, interesting in that he was discharged in 1944, almost certainly due to his loss of limb.

        Was this guy released before the war ended? Very interesting, have never seen such a paper. Do you have more of him?

          I have started a thread on the 'Order of Battle and Individual Research' page in the hope that some further details surrounding the later stages of his Luftwaffe career and be ascertained. All pertinent documents are listed.

            A bit away from your question. I had a close look on the stamp on the back side and I could read that he was in the "Lager Rammensee":

            " Rammensee
            Die Weberei Rammensee befand sich in der Fabrikzeile, in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zur Neuen Baumwollspinnerei. Im sogenannten “Lager Rammensee” waren im 2.Weltkrieg 278 osteuropäische Zwangsarbeiter untergebracht. Heute erinnert nichts mehr an diese Weberei. (Tankstelle)"
