Not much interest in this, I thought it was ultra rare to find an entry for the Blood Order in a WP. Only the second I have seen anyway. Any one else seen it before?

Do you as a BO-expert happen to know if his live as a soldier was any different because he had that political award? How was it valued among the front troops?

But I thought to myself that it would go well to share my wehrpass with the blood order inscription. It is interested to see that the award has been written twice.

.......anyone else notice when he got his EK1 and THEN his EK2?
Looks like he got it all- NSDAP 10 +15, KVKx, EK2, wound badge, assault badge and the BloodOrder. What a group that would be to have.

It is my understanding that thier was a seperate id card issued to Blood Order recipients. Has anyone ever seen one? I would love to see an example if someone would be willing to share. Thanks

Here is the small red linen holders document.This was for the second pattern medal. The first pattern medal had a small brown holders document. Check out the political forum here on WAF we have many threads about the Blood order

I would love to find Otto Ertl's Soldbuch and/or Wehrpass and reunite them with his Blood Order (I wonder if the "Blutorden" was entered in them?)
