How rare is a Generals Wehrpass?

Hello. I have the chance to buy a Wehrpass who belonged to a Wehrmacht General. Unfortunately he earned most of his awards during WWI and didn't receive any higher awards such as DKiG, Knights Cross, etc.. So it would be just for the rank.
Is €2.200 an adequate price for it?

No, that price is far too high for one that you have described. Huesken's has a similar one to a Generalleutnant who was Inspekteur der Nebeltruppen und Gasabwehr im Oberkommando des Heeres (ERWIN LEISTER) and is asking 1550 Euros for it and to be honest that is too high as well for what it is and what he did - which is probably why it has sat on his site for so long. In my opinion just because it is a high ranking officer shouldn't be cause for the price to be too high if he didn't exactly amount to much in terms of appointment and awards. Not every General commanded a front line unit or won a high end award. Unfortunately dealers/sellers tend to think otherwise, but a realistic price for an 'ordinary' General should be around the 8-900 Euro mark, possibly even less (but obviously that is just my opinion).

I agree with hucks, unless this general (you don't say which rank of general) commanded or worked in a particularly interesting position, or was awarded a high award prior to WWII that is far too high a price to pay.

        Rare doesn't always equal expensive.

I also agreee that the price is too high, I gave up a Generals Wehrpass and Militärpass and other documentation for a much higher price but he had 5 pages of decorations as well as Knights Cross, Oakleaves and Swords, but sometimes one can't keep everything. There were a lot of Generals in the Wehrmacht!
