In a wehrpass in entry 6 for Religion what does : g. gl. stand for?

It could be for "gottglaubig", this mean that it could be a God, but the man don't belive in it in the tradiotional way. It was not an atheist or non religious, it was a solution for people who belive in a superior force, but not the common in the majority religions.

Angel is correct. This was the Third Reich "politically correct" way to imply vague religious feelings as approved by the anti-religious NSDAP. There are very distinct political implications to this term during the period. Rick
