Ss docs: Any good???

Here are two SS documents that I would like to authenticate, as I have no idea if these are postwar or original. I researched the ausweis, and as far as I know, it was issued to wounded soldiers in SS-Oberabsnitt Sud. The SS Schiessbuch is a prewar doc, for small caliber arms marksmanship; unissued example, shows age. I don't know if these docs were produced postwar. I attached a few scans of the cover + a couple inside pages. If any experienced SS doc collector can provide some input about either one or both of these docs, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I seriously doubt the 1st one to be other than a postwar phantasy product!

The Schiessbuch could be good, although I never saw one of these before

Hi Tom,

I agree with Alex. That's because I have seen an other phantasy example
of the first document a few years back. So imo not for me.

However the schiessbuch I like much more. I have seen 1 by a Wiking vet a few years ago. It looked just the same.

Thank you, guys, for your comments concerning these docs. You have confirmed my doubts about the SS-Oberabsnitt Sud doc. I will keep researching the SS-Schiessbuch, and hopefully, it might be an original WWII doc. It's a very interesting booklet, and IMO, if it is postwar, more of them would have flooded the TR market in the past. If anybody can confirm that this marksmanship book is a postwar fake, I'd really like to hear your input about it. Thanks again for the help!!!

Thank you again, Kuratorium, for your help with my SS docs. I have read the thread on the other forum, and as you stated, those ausweis had no red stamps. I wouldn't think that a faker would reproduce an ausweis related to the welfare of wounded soldiers, but that could be the reason that the red stamp was added to the front, so that it would look more like a military-issue ID card related to duties other than wounded troops. A lot of novice collectors would look at this card without translating it, and probably think that it was some kind of rare ID for special SS personnel. I had to translate it before I knew what it concerned, but I don't think that a lot of guys when purchasing it would take the time to translate it, especially if it was offered at a bargain price. I will consider this ausweis to be a postwar fake, embellished with extra stamps to market it to novice doc collectors. Thanks again, guys!!!
