    I see no evidence to say he was a pilot...plenty evdidence that he was a technichian or mechanic!!!
    In fact it does say he is a Flugmotorenschlosser or aircraft engine fitter...looks like he had a special course on He 177 (Heinkel He 177 "Greif").

    He was at pilot training school (C) which is bombers and larger aircraft...if he was a pilot he would have had to attend (A/B) school first.
    He then went to technical school.

      Thanks for the good advice as usual Ian, steer clear then??

      If he had of been a pilot flying these aircraft, would that have been
      a fair price??

        Probably would be a fair price......with that said....if he was a motor mechanic on rockets it is also a rare piece!
