    GOOD EVENING IN ALL
    I have just received a first prize of document of a submariner and among others a fuhrungsbuch with all its affectations(appointments).
    I do not find his(her,its) affectation(appointment) on the KOLN (his(her) band(strip) of bachi kreuzer koln and the photos of the koln in the album photo is in the prize(lot)).
    And of more an affectation(appointment) seems to me bizarre / kommando U-BOOTSBEGLEITCHIFF WILHEM BAUER
    Thus if you can help me

                        He definitely was aboard U-Boats U-8, 746 and 318. Also some service on the Begleitschiff (Escort Ship) "Wilhelm Bauer".

                        U-8: Dec. 1940 - May 1945. 22.U-Flottille, Gotenhafen.Schulboot (training boat)
                        U-746: Sept.1943 - Feb.1945. 21.U-Flottille, Pillau. Schulboot (training boat)
                        U-318: Nov.1944 - Feb.1945. 13.U-Flottille, Trondheim. Frontboot (operational) - Mar.1945 - May 1945. 14.U-Flottille, Narvik. Frontboot (operational)

                        Looking at the dates he was aboard U-Boats he was mainly on training. However he could have done 1 patrol aboard U-318.

                        I do not see anything for Kreuzer Köln, however you do not show all his service. What did he do between 26.9.1940 and 26.9.1941?
