    Red Cross"Verwendungsbuch"

    Hi
My Friend has just been here,he has been through the collection he bought, and
he found among the other items this Red Cross "Verwendungsbuch" from a German Nurse, well filled out,the Eagle on the front has been denazified, from the book I can see that the Dog Tag I posted yesterday in the Equipment Forum belongs to her, after the war she continiued work as a Nurse for the US Army in Herborn, in the book is also a Recommandation from the US Army, signed Alfred Carp,Capt.
    Here is a few photos

I think this make the Dog Tag and book a little better, now there is a history and a Name.

    Cheers
    J.S

          Neat! Any awards??

I recently saw an ebay photo -from a group of a trainee nurse @1941, that included one older, very fat nurse in full uniform with a 5 award ribbon bar! Her boss had a KVK1 without swords.
Ba-re is selling off the odd lots from the rest of the series now on ebay.
