Here two of mine : first comes from a Wp of a Fw. of IR 234, later in [I]Gren. Regt. 895

I like the Granatwerfer entry. Could you guys specify your weapon entries? Sometimes I have problems reading the handwritten entries.

Entries include the standard ones for the rifle, Luger & P-38 pistols, MG's 34 & 42, mortars and also entries for assault rifles, including an entry for what I think is the MKb.42(H) (M.Pi 42 in the Wehrpass)...

Walther pistol?

Hi, don't know if this counts. I can't make out much (Luftwaffe Sold Buch, Page 8), but the last entry does look like it's for a Walther 6.35 mm pistol. Looks like the serial number is there too. Wish I understood the rest.

Your SB weapon entry reads: "Inhaber ist im Besitz einer eigenen Pistole Modell Walther 6.35 mm Nr. 425211. Besitznachweis durch pflichtgemäße Erklärung".

I've translated this to mean: "Holder is in possession of his own gun. Model: Walther kal. 6.35 mm, No. 725211th. Proof of ownership through dutiful statement."

I've noticed a number of entries in this thread refer to "eigenen" weapons. Was this a common thing? Does it mean the weapons were personal weapons, privately owned, or that they were just issued for use by the one person?
