    SS ID tag from SS Verfügungstruppe

    Hi,

    I got that one from a good source, think, it looks good.

    Was there a Nachrichten Ersatzabteilung in SS VT?

            OK, let´s be Serious. The Material and the Condition are looking good, the Zinc Corrosion looks also correct for Piece which maybe lay 65 Years in Cigar Box. The Stamps at the Frontside looks good. The Backside with the SS-Verfügungstruppe is uncommon and not known so, normally the SS Runes are round and the whole Stamp is made in one Part. Sometimes there are Differences to find like "SS-VT" and other Kind of Stamps. I saw a lot of different "SS-VT" Stamps to ground finds I dug out by myself and maybe an early single Unit really use this Kind of Stamps. The Problem is, that there are a lot of Fakes on the market with very close to yours relating "SS-Verfügungstruppe " Runes Stamps. So if your Tag is good or not it, it keeps the Suspect of Fake to those stamped Tags..

              I'm probably missing out[ but I don't collect them much anymore unless its something really weird/unique]...anyway,,don't like the back [SSVT] , just haven't seen it like that exactly,,,a fake for me....

                  old? with VT spelled out and SS runes on it?,, hey sure I've been out a while with these.. Anyone have a known good one with the VT spelled out and SS runes they'd like to show? Thanks, G.
