Wehrmacht Oberkommando der Heeresgruppe E /Soldbuch/

I would like to show this Soldbuch what I have for a long time now. The booklet itself doesn't have any missing pages. He has served from 1940 till the end of the war. from '44 he has served in the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, Heeresgruppe-E. His dogtag was coded. If I'm thinking about selling it, what would be a fair price? Thanks,

Nice looking soldbuch. I think the price € 50,- is a little low. I would to say between € 80,- and € 100,-

Late war basic 'Ersatz' replacement Soldbuch 50€-60€. The guy does have a very nicely clipped pimped out moustache...no increase in value for that though.

In my opinion the value should be minimum 100 euros. Since it is in beautiful conditions, all pages are safe and sound, with all swastikas present. Also it is pretty rare I think that he had a coded dogtag. So basically I don't understand why are you guys devaluating it for cheap...

Why do you ask for a fair price, when you have already your own price in your mind.

As its a replacement Soldbuch i would say 50-60 Euro as well.
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

Being a replacement Soldbuch doesn't mean automaticly that it is a Soldbuch with a low value.

The units, awards, actions, wounds, photo etc etc etc makes the price.

No combat unit, very few entries, no battle award in this one, but a good condition and a fine photo for this very basic Soldbuch.

Could you post a scan of the tag?

Just curious. If Euro 100 is your minimum, then what would be your maximum?

Are you refering to his erkennungsmarke (dogtag)? They do show up with Soldbuchs, or Wehrpasses at times. I have several erkennungsmarke in Heer document groups, but none are rare and certainly not enough to boost the overall value of the groups to any considerable sum.

                        Now there are rare erkennungsmarke.

                          Edward,

I don't think that there is a dogtag to go with this Soldbuch, there is only the Soldbuch.

Gotcha Erich. So he was pointing out that on page 1 of the Soldbuch there is the standard erkennungsmarke entry.

                            Thanks

He only says that the man did have a coded dogtag.
