Help!!! 4 x similar Soldbuch Volkssturm - original?

Hi there. There are not that much "Volkssturm-Soldbuecher" on the market. Today I've found 4 (!) within short time on the Internet. They are all stamped with "Gau 20" and show the same date of release. Does someone have an explanation? Are they good? Someone at a German forum has mentioned they are part of a so-called "Hortfund".

    Here are th links:

Can't open 3 of them but so far as I know no such rank as Obersturmmann in the Volkssturm.

These look rather dangerous and almost as if they came off an assembly line. These must have been rather large soldiers with shoe sizes 44 and 45. Nowadays this is common but back then the people rarely wore this shoe size as the people tended to be smaller. I would suggest you look at all the pages and not just the ones pictured and be very cautious of this offering.

He also ask in the german MFF forum about the Volkssturm Solbuch, but he dont belive that there was a found of 100 of them. He never heard about the found and so he dont belive that all the Volkssturm Soldbücher are original.

I have seen on my own eyes several dozen of those "Gau 20" VS-Soldbuchs in Kassel. I can confirm - they are unquestionable original.

              These Soldbücher are doubtless original.

Indeed, there had been the following ranks:
                • Volkssturm-Mann
                • Gruppenführer
                • Zugführer
                • Kompanieführer
                • Bataillonsführer

                But no "Obersturmmann"!!!

                Regards

                  Agreed, but the written content?

As you own at least three of them but unfortunately deleted some of the auctions, why don't you post pictures of the pages with the ranks? There had been no Rank within the Volkssturm like "Obersturmmann". That is a product of bad research.

                  Regards
