          Festungs Btl. 656 was part of the 274 ID and covered the very south of Norway including Stavanger and Kristiansand. I see he moved into a reservation at Evjemoen after the end of the war,this is inland, to the north of Kristiansand.

          page 21 includes training in 1943 for POW guard duties and his award indicate the 4 and 12 year long service medals along with a sportsbadge.
          Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

              l.M.G. - Leichte maschinengewehr (MG34/42 on a bipot).
              s.M.G. - Schwere maschinengewehr (MG34/42 on a tripot (Lafette)).
              I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
              Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.
