Deutsche Volksturm Soldbuch

Hi All,
Are these rare?? I saw one today unissued but looked real. It had age , etc...
Just have not had any before. How much are they worth?

I would suggest that they are quite rare - - issued in the final months of the war and made of inferior quality card/paper. Sadly I have only two examples in my colection (amassed over thirty years) - both have been issued and both lack the picture of Adolf Hitler.

Over the years I have seen maybe a dozen examples for sale but I have never seen an unissued example - - but here in England you will now have to pay about £80-£100 for an issued example.

enclose a picture of the front side of a soldbuch of my collection.

You will see, that the paper is quite different. So I feel not so good with yours, and I get the feeling, that yours is a modern reprint.

Thanks for posting yours.
I don't think that it is a reprint. If you had it in your hand, I don't think you would either. Who printed yours? Mine was printed by J.Steinbrener,Winterberg. The paper used is old and has the old smell, also the printing was done with a printing press, not some new printer. I wish I could show better pics. I have seen many new printed books as I was a re-enactor and this doesn't have the feel of a fake. I did not know they were reprinting Volksturm ones.
