From Flak to Infanterie (Heer soldier with Lw Flak badge)

I'm posting this picture here because I would like to ask if you have come across a Wehrpass or Soldbuch that showed a similar transfer.
The well-decorated Luftwaffe Flak veteran, Alfred Schall (born 1917) wearing a Heer Infanterie uniform of Grenadier-Regiment 97.
I know, at the end of the war, Lw flight and ground personnel were transferred to the Heer but a veteran Flak soldier.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

In my book I have several photos like this. One is SS with Luft flak, some are luft with heer flak or heer with luft flak.

Regardless, this is an AWESOME photo and I LOVE IT!

That wrapper is KILLER! I would have loved it in my book! But great to see it.

I imagine guys transferred. On my Waffen-SS photo the guy has a Luftwaffe long service ribbon too.

Bill, that is the same man as in post #1. His name is Alfred Schall, Obergefreiter in GR97. Is there anything written on the back or do you have any other pics of him?

              Regards

                    Thanks Bill,

                    It reads:

                    To my dear Fr ....

In remembrance of the once existing "Holzkommando" in Chlumetz (Czech Republic), February 1945

                    from Fredy (short for Alfred)

                      photos

                      Great images!

I really like to see different branches of the Wehrmacht with badges from previous service in other arms i.e. LW, KM etc.

                      Very nice!!
