    I.D. tag markings please

    H.ABN.JNSP.SUDOST appreciate abbreviation I.D.tag markings please,and a link to website that contains markings of german dogtags too,many thanks in advance..

    Heeres Abschnitt Inspektion Sud-Ost - Army Sector Inspection South East. This guy was a kind of an army clerk. He was located in Wien.

        Hey Al ! Whats wrong with you ?

        Heeres Abnahme Inspektion Südost !

        The guy was a member of a subbranch of the Heeres Waffen Amt.

        They are responsible for the "lucky", little eagles on the weapons. Called WaA Eagle...

          Oh Fronti, it's so cold here need some coke for my brains
          Seriously I wasn't aware of this. I have perhaps 6 or so tags from these offices but thought that the Waffenamt had only the Amtsgruppen responsible for different kind of arms, munition etc. ( like Amtsgruppe fur Entwicklung & Prufung and Amtsgruppe fur Industrielle Rustung, Amtsgruppe Chefingenieur etc...). I wasn't aware there was some "geographical" organisation.
          How would you translate Kdo.d.H.Abn.Beschw. That's actually the only one I'm not sure about. Otherwise all are marked Ost, Mitte, West etc.
