Normandy Wehrpass MIA

This is a WP I bought last year from a WW2 vets estate, (I bought it from the wife and son). I also know the name and unit of the GI. The paper shown was found folded in the front pocket of the WP. The soldier was a grenidier in a MG unit and was in Normandy during the invasion. There is no record of Hermann Schedel being killed, in the WP he is penciled in as missing. I wonder if Hermann was taken POW and survived the war. Enjoy the pics , any info anyone has would be appreciated.
