as I wrote to you, the Turkomen note on this wehrpass is very marginal for me
(about the 3. Turk, Feldersatz Btl. 11 I only know that it was a Verona....) while for me the focus point is precisely that this soldier was in Verucchio during the execution following the killing by the partisans of his comrade Heinrich Harre

And after two wehrpass of the Grenadier-Regiment 993 a soldbuch of the 992

And in February 1942 Kratze is seriously injured on Lake Imelsee (I think have ligaments with permanent paralysis to the radial nerve of the right arm) and for this reason, as we shall see, it remains partially invalid
And here in fact in the check the stamp of the Genesende Kompanie 375 (Infanterie-Ersatz-Bataillon 375) and therefore our Grenadier-Regiment 992....

But "the place" in Italy of the Grenadier-Regiment 992 is Monte Pulito (Faetano for the Germans) in the Republic of San Marino where on 17 and 18 September 1944, the 992 was the protagonist of a violent counterattack that puts in crisis for a couple of days 'unstoppable" English advance towards the Marecchia river...

The neutrality of the Republic of San Marino was more or less respected by the Germans, while the British suffered an aerial bombardment right on the city, for wrong information, which made 63 deaths and compensated with 80,000 pounds, while its part more towards the coast during the passage of the front was crossed in combat by the two armies
From the pamphlet of 278 posted behind, Faetano and San Marino in the memories of the division
Monte Pulito!
