    What award is this?

    Hey Guys,

I think this entry is the Panzervernichtungsabzeichen but I'm not sure. Can you tell what it is? Thanks!

I agree. I believe it is the full title entry for the TDB (Sonderabzeichen Fur Das Niederkampfen Von Panzerkampfwagen Durch Einzelkampfer)

        Sudeten

        TDB
        Driver probation badge??
        Allg. Sturm
        CCC in bronze

Thats what is listed anyway. I cant find anywhere about a drivers probation badge. It's on a site, and I'm thinking about purchasing it.

          Dear Militarymedic
ma you kindly share with us this soldier full name, grade and unit? May you show even his photo (if this is his Soldbuch, his photo is on first page)
I'm sure that he win a panzervernichtungsabzeichen (also know as Sonderabzeichen..), that was awarded for an enemy panzer or armoured vehicle destruction with hand held weapon.
          Thanks in advance
          Carlo

Perhaps the Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen, usually given to drivers for X number of kilometers driven without an accident.

Thanks Hank. I was thinking the same thing. Probably a proficiency badge..

This would probably be the Drivers badge award. Another question the Nahkampftage entry... is that the actual awarding of the badge or is that just listing his days?

Sorry for the questions, I've just never bought a book with these awards before.

                    Thanks for any help!

                      Rose-

Are you sure he was awarded the Nahkampfspange (CCC) in bronze? I ask only because I don't see it listed in the images you provided. The entry you show in post #8 says "Nahkampftage" (close combat days) and lists two: 27.Nov.1942 and 28.Nov.1942. I just want to make sure you know hat's not an entry for the award itself.

Is there a "Nahkampfspange" award entry anywhere in the book? If so, can you post it? I'd like to have a look......

The awards I listed are what the fellow has listed in his description on his website, Although I assumed it was bronze. He only has it listed as a CCC. I thought it should say nahkampfspange somewhere, but I didnt see it listed either so that's why I asked about the tage page. I sent him an email requesting more photos of the book and a photo of the CCC entry (if there is one, and I hope there is, but if not still a nice book I think). Unfortunately Rob these are the only photos I currently have.

Again sorry about the questions... Just continuing to learn.

I checked the sellers site and I do not see the CCC....this has been listed for quite some time and to be honest I wondered why it had not sold with the Pz.Vernichtungs Abzeichen!

                            Hi Ian,

Well I've just been advised that there is no CCC entry from the seller.
Sorry Guys, I thought there was because it's listed in his description as close combat badge. Anyway, thanks for lookin.
Ian, Do you think the price is in range for a book like this? If I'd known it was listed for so long I would've tried to deal with Mr. Huss. Since I'll have money soon, I thought I'd get me a nice piece.

you can see the book here http://www.german-historica.de/ on page 3 of the wehrpasses/soldbuch/ID.
