I saw this on a website. (these are quotes from the description):
"Dated 24/06/1944(replacement issue)." ( the wehrpass)
"30/04/1944 Karl was KIA during the preliminary attacks on the German line by the Red Army. Karl fell 18 Km southeast of Sevastopol."
The question I have is, why was there a replacement Wehrpass for a man who already died? Is this possible?
