    Soldbuch unit entry help please...

    Hello forum,

This is my first post in this forum, im mostly an awards guy lol but today I just recived my new soldbuch to an unteroffizier decorated with the EK1. and EK2. anyway a nice used example with a great photo and history, and I would like to know if anyone who is more of an expert can help me in identifying the unit stamps that this has, I have the link to the thread in estand were i bought it, but i will write the unit stamps in here :

    Stabs-kp.Pi.Ers.Batl.26, Höxter.

I know its pioner, and if im right its the 26th battalion, but what does say the Höxter mean ??

And there is this stamp also, i think its the same but whats the main meaning of this ? :

    Stamm kp.Pi.Ers.Btl.26

    the link :

    regards, Les

    Hi Les,

it is correct, the Pionier Ersatz Bataillon 26 was established in November 1939 in Höxter, a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, and was later attached to the division 166. I hope it helps.
