    SB 5/Gren-Rgt.234

    Hey guys,

I got this soldbuch this year. Its a nice one and appears the soldier lost his and a replacement was done at a hospital. It came with research already done by someone. Awarded 10 medals.

    Enjoy.

12 this photo is a bit of trickery. I edited the photo so you could see what was underneath of my previous post. I didn't actually cut it out.

As Rob noted very nice Soldbuch.

Very filled in and a nice grouping of awards!!!

So why do you want SS Soldbucher you're doing fine picking up the HEER items.

                    Cheers

                    Jeremy

Eventually I would like to have a soldbuch from every branch. Currently I'm looking to get some Luft and Kriegsmarine.

Maybe you already know?! Krankheit 31 stands for woundings due to hostile action and Karnkheit 18 = pneumonia.

                        Best regards

We had a thread recently about Zweitschrift yes or no. This is one of the examples where a Zweitschrift is almost better than a first issue.

This is a VERY nice soldbuch! Sad to see though that the guy died just three days after wars end.

                            Thanks Guys,

I really like this book. It's in nice shape and as you said well filled out. Any idea where he might be buried? I always try that grave search thing but cant figure out how to do it since I dont speak German.
