WWI and WWII Grouping help

Hi,

I recently acquired a grouping to a soldier containing:
1. WWI Militariapass
2. WWI Soldbuch
3. WWII Soldbuch
4. Fuhrerschein

I was wondering if anyone could help me with some translations of the WWII Items.

Soldbuch:
1.Pg14 translation
2. Pg20 translation
3. Award translation

last one first, only because that's visible and haven't clicked up the other's yet:

He owned and had permission to carry his own pistol, a Sauer 7.65 mm with serial number as noted, proven as his private property by having showed the purchase receipt. That being crossed off was probably done at the end of the war, when he had to turn it in to the Allies.

First one is regarding the issue of smokers goods control card for Feburary until June 1942....basically a tobacco ration card

Second one regarding receipt of service pay, rations money etc., also 50.- RM discharge pay.
Obviousy this person was discharged from the Wehrmacht on 30.10.1940.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the help...are you sure that that is discharge pay? According to other entries in the Soldbuch he was still in service as late as 1944, being promoted in 1941....

Yes it is......He could well have rejoined as this was not uncommon but in 1940 he received his discharge pay.
Former WWI vets were normally called up in 1939 and some used in Poland, many used in France, however after short occupations duties many were released...
I am just trying to think if I have any to hand that show this but can not think of any at the moment.

Can you show more? What units he belonged to etc.?

Entlassung means discharge, geld means pay/cash

This bloke was admitted to hospital before he was discharged as the next picture shows.

Hospital entries...not quite sure why he was there, but he was discharged on the 30th, one day after being admitted.
