Pionier Btl 900 (Afrika) Soldbuch

Something new just came my way.

The Soldbuch and Erkennungsmarke for Feldwebel Hans kluge, Pi. Btl 900 7 90 le. Afrika Division.

Soldbuch with E Marke. The Marke is stamped twice with his Blutgruppe B on either side of the Marke.

The Soldbuch was issued on 27. August 1939, on of the earliest ones in my collection.

The last unit entered is Pi. Btl. 900 of the 90. leichte Division / Panzergruppe Afrika. ....there is one more entry below this which was carefully removed.

Hallo! I know this is an older thread but I'm curious <erichcraciun> if you still have this Soldbuch and whether there are any other possible clues as to what unit the owner was with after Pionier-Bataillon-900 (the one that is scratched out) such as a Feldpostnummer stamp dated post-May 43 or anything like that? Perhaps a leave, hospital stay, etc.?

If I'm seeing the photo you posted of p.4 it looks as if there was a paste-in over top that was then removed?

If you still have the Soldbuch and would be willing to share any additional photos/scans - especially the equipment issue pages - that would be most appreciated!

This has sold and unfortunately I do not have any additional photos. It was up for sale for quite a while and I finally had to sell it for much less than what I bought it for.

I thought it was a great set too. Relatively complete however there was no interest for quite a long time. It went for a very "affordable" price.
