Ski-Jager sniper soldbuch research

Hello! This one was offered me as a ski-jager sniper and jagdkommando member soldbuch from Ukrainian archive.

I was not able to find any evidence that he was a sniper or had any connection to jagdkommando but this soldbuch seems to be interesting for some research.

And there are some question about it:

1. Image #6. What is MPi 43?
2. Image #6. What kind of equipment right under the MPi 43
3. Image #8. 25.2.44 - is this Infanterie Abzeichen?
4. Image #8. 07.5.44 - Is this tank destruction badge?

Skijäger-Regiment 2

Formed in September 1943 with Heeresgruppe Mitte from the Jäger-Bataillonen 2, 4, 5, 7, 9 and 11. The Regiment came under Skijäger-Brigade 1 and on 2.6.1944 under 1. Skijäger-Division.

Very nice. The 1 Skijäger Brigade were amongst the first formations to be issued the MP 43\44 starting in sept\oct '43.
