A few years back i picked up this little group to a Marineartillerist with a Marine Flak Abteilung stationed in Norway who was involved in the last attack made by the Fleet Air Arm in Europe of the war, also the last attack against a target in Norway of the war and the last two FAA aircraft to be shot down in the war in Europe.

Well, just arrived today is a Soldbuch to another member of the same battery!
The SB photo is missing but it came with this much better portrait photo which is named to the guy on the back
note the final promotion dated 1st June '45. not unusual, after the end of the war, commands put a call out for subunits to send in details of promotions and awards that were in the pipeline prior to the end.
the really interesting part are his awards. The Marineartillerie abzeichen from 1943 but more importantly the woundbadge in black for being wounded in the 4th May '45 attack and en EKII for the same.
