Interestingly started off as ground crew, attended pilot training school, then wireless operators school, spent some time at the Main examination office of XI Flying Corps (Fallschirmtruppe/Luftlande), then back to pilot training school.....can you tell us any more about this person Tommy?

What makes you think that this is a Glider Soldbuch? => perhaps the entry somewhere that the original owner did qualify for one of the civil Glider certificates (such as the A, B or C- Prufüng ) ?
