    Request: Feldpost help / Opinions on awards page

    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone could please help me with the following:

    a) Does anyone know which unit corresponds to feldpost number L 31649 (as shown on page 23 below)?

    b) Whether the awards page looks right (bearing in mind the units on page 4)?

    Any red flags being waved?

        I thought it was odd that his awards were made by the Kompanie Chef rather than Staffelkapitän/Führer, however taking another look he was part of the Luftnachricthen Kompanie of Kampfgeschwader 1 Hindenburg so all in order!

        FP Nr. 05800

        (Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) Stab m. Stabsstaffel Kampf Geschwader 1
        (15.9.1940-31.1.1941) Stab Kampf Geschwader 1
        (1.2.1941-11.7.1941) cancelled and became FP Nr. 31649

          It went to someone else who is no doubt very happy at the moment (and as they might object to the images being shown online I've edited them out from the first post).
