    "Unique" Arbeistbuch...

*** Sorry for the spelling mistake - the title of this thread should have read "Arbeitsbuch", not "Arbeistbuch" !!!

Anyways, I recently was able to obtain this unique little Arbeitsbuch for a friend of mine. As you can see, it is from the firm "Focke - Achgelis", a firm which specialized in Helicopter manufacture.

Note the title of this fellow as being "Flugzeug - Spezialarbeiter" and that he was a little over 16 1/2 years of age when he started at "Focke - Achgelis".

Go here for more (pretty basic) information on this firm:

            HA !!!

            :-)

Christof, that is exactly what I was thinking also (and probably a million other collectors too) !!!

Unless Arbeitsbuchs are from a "Tiger" or an MP 44 Factory, they (admittedly) are pretty bland and boring.

This one is indeed quite unique (and dare I say rare, also).......

A truly unique Arbeitsbuch to one of the earliest engineers of helicopters!!!

People should really take a look at these documents more carefully.......but then perhaps not as you might not have snagged this Trevor

              Very nice!!

                Agreed.

For Helicopter enthusiasts, this is quite the little treasure. Third Reich Helicopter associated material (ID's, Photos, etc) is scarce (++) at the best of times. I was indeed lucky that no one "did their homework" on this Arbeitsbuch, and that I was able to "land it" (ha, ha - some BAD 'Copter humor there) at a very, very good price.

                  Very interesting Arbeitsbuch.

They also produced the Focke Achgelis Fa-330 Bachstelze for the Uboats, and that is why I am interested in that Company.

First time I see such a booklet for that Company.

                  yours friendly
