I found the Wehrpass to the 8th company very interesting and have noticed that I have a 2. Komp Ski Jäger Rgt 1 Wehrpaß to a soldier KIA shortly after the 8th company soldier.

he was stationed in Norway from 4 Dec 1942 through 19 Sept 43 with Jagdkommando Pz Gren Rgt 730 at which point he transferred to Marschbatl Norwegen 1 most probably for training for Ski Jäger Rgt 1 for action in Russia.Comment

on 7 Aug 1944 he died while in transport to the field hospital and the Wehrpass was closed out and sent to the family.Comment
