            Hello

This is my opinion, too !

The problem is, that the 14. SS Totenkopf Infanterie Regiment is the only known unit that printed their dogtags from backside.
Now remember, how many dogtags of this unit you have seen in the last years.
            I have seen a lot.
The dogtag above looks pretty good, but I don't trust them an inch.

Could be good, or could not be good.

            Best regards, Fronti

Thank you very much Gentlemen for those experiment opinions. Although I feel now
a little confused... The seller wants 120 Euros for the tag but I think I can have it for 100 Euros if I try to bargain with him...
i don't know if I buy it it will be my first dog tag but perhaps another rip off ...
Anyway, Thank you again Gentlemen, I appreciate.
                  Best reagrds, Xavier

                    Hello

120 Eur is a very good price for this dogtag !
Remember: "normal" SS tags are often about 120 and above !

                    Best regards, fronti

Spick English! Like the guys said already. The tags from 14. SS TJR come from Heidelager near Debica. However many if not all Regards

                              Hi,
This tag is surely ok and 120 is nowdays a bargain price for it.
However there are also similar fake tags. Fairly simple to detect as they have fantasy coy numbers like 65 etc. One can also find difference on reverse side as the stamping tools left a kind of circles embossed arround the letters on the fakes.

                              Fronti,
actually these are not the only tags stamped using a counterplate method.
I have AR 225 and Hydrierwerke Politz stamped in the same way and seen a couple of other tags too.
                              All best
                              Al
