I thought I would show this Totenkopf Soldbuch that I have had for about three years. It's amazing that this soldier served with Totenkopf from 1942-1945 and survived, thanks to being wounded and hospitalized at the end of the war. Apparently the Amis didn't turn them all over to the Russians. Notice the 1st U.S. Army entry at the bottom of page 13. Notice also the stange pocket flaps of the uniform. As you can see, this kid saw a hell of a lot of combat.
