Just got my first KIA Wehpass. Volksbund help needed please.

Hi there,

I've just aquired my first confirmed KIA Wehpass in a job lot I got from Germany. Its got a red cross to the front and Gefallen wrote on page 34.

I was wondering if somebody could please find out some information of the Volksbund website please?

I am learning German at the moment but it is very basic.

His details are:

Herbert Robert Hackmann (Can't be a 100% on his last name, I'm waiting on a new scanner!)

Geb 22 12 1913

Gef 19 8 44 Ergli Lettland

If the name is incorrect then I will put some scans up at the weekend when I collect my new scanner.

His place of birth appears to be Lubruck?

He doesnt come from Deutches Reich, its ........ Reich.
