Yes, great contributions from all. Thanks to everyone for keeping this thread going. It's great to see so many nice AFV crew IDs out there, and hopefully we'll see many more

Nice photo and of course unit, Daniele. Are there any awards listed?

As Jeff asked can we also see the unit entries? Too bad the soldbuch is denazified like that.

              Best,

                Dear Rob,

Over the years here on WAF you mentioned a couple of times that denazified booklets weren't a problem for you.

So why this one is "Too bad" now.

                yours friendly

                  EJ-

You are correct, it's definitely not a problem for me.

Seeing as how over the years Daniele has stated on multiple occasions his strong dislike of denazified books (as recently as a few weeks ago, actually),
I simply stated that I think it's too bad that this one - obviously in his collection - has been denazified.

                  Hopefully this answers your question.

                  Best,
                  Rob

                    Hello Daniele

Looks like a promising SB with a nice portrait. Romanian volunteer in a Tiger unit. The denazification doesn't bother me at all.

I think "Too bad" is a bit exaggerated but perhaps Rob can show us better examples from his collection

Thanks for sharing and i hope to see more of this

                    Regards

                    Erwin

Just got a new soldbuch, to a Stug guy.
There is also a photoalbum full with photo´s of him and stug´s and him on stugs.
But the seller wants a high price, so i´m still negotiating on that!

I havn´t researched it yet, but i see that he was with Sturmartillerie-Abteilung 191 in 1940.
And stayed with this unit (re-named to Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung 191) for a long time.
Later he went to Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung 259.
                        He received the following awards:
                        EKII,
                        EKI,
                        Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen,
                        Sportabzeichen,
                        Reiterabzeichen,
                        Dienstmedaille IV Klasse,
                        Schützenschnurr,
                        Verwundetenabzeichen in schwarz,
                        Verwundetenabzeichen in silber.

I got a few scans of the album, i will post a few pictures of them as well.

                                Hi Rick,

Congratulations with such a nice Soldbuch, and loaded with information from 1939 to 1945.

                                Great portrait-photo in the wrapper.

Good luck and success with the photo-album.
