I thought it would be nice to bring this great thread under attention. Some very nice items have been posted here in the past. Thanks to all those who have participated so far...

Hopefully we'll see some ID's related to Schwere Panzer Jager Abteilung 559. I have been interested in this unit for 4/5 years know and i haven't seen much ID's related to this unit, unfortunately.

So i'm looking forward to see some other examples

Anyway keep up the good work. Here is a nice signature from the Major and Abteilung commander. The signature is written on 1 september 1944 in a sb from a 559 panzer crew member which is in my collection. The major himself had also a jagdpanther under his command. His jagdpanther is standing in the IMW today.
