    FJR 2 ID disk

I'm looking at buying this FJR 2 ID disk and I'm just wanting to make sure the datails about it are correct, FJR 2 11 company? Thanks.

      62 8989 = 11./ FJR2, 11./FJ4
In this type of dog tags (with numbers only, without using signs) - answer is very difficult. But IMO - this is fake.

        Hello Chris,
This looks like the dogtag, which I sold to a friend in Romania, a couple years ago. I purchased this dogtag directly from George Petersen, the noted collector and author of several books on Fallschirmjager. George had taped a small strip of paper to the back of it, on which was the definition of the coded number and it's regimental equivalent. I purchased this from George back in the days before this information was readily available, and I paid him a very strong price for it as well. This was before there was much interest in German dogtags.
        Thank you and best wishes,
        Curtiss Shattuck
