              Hi Schuh,

Nice grouping you show us here on WAF.
Pity that the photo is taken out of the Wehrpaß, but good to see that although loose he is still there.
I can not find any combat victories for your man (at the moment), but he didn't receive an EK.2 so I think that he didn't have a victory scored.

26.June.1944 Uffz. Albert Nagel 13./JG.27 was wounded during an areal combat near Paris.
              He was flying a Bf.109.-G.6., White 13, Wnr.163439.
He was brought to the hospital of Clichy.

              yours friendly

A fine group you have there!

Uffz. Albert Nagel was wounded on 26th June 1944 while flying with 13./JG27 from Champfleury-la-Perthe, France.

I cannot find anything about Nagel's wounding but 10 Staffel lost two pilots over Wald von Chambord on this day and Fw. Edmund Wieland of 12 Staffel claimed a P-51 for his fifth victory at 06:43, 10 Km westerly of Orne-Muendung. Maybe, Nagel was wounded in this action?

This information is from JG27 - Ring and Girbig, but for more in depth information you need to find someone with the Prien publication on III and IV/JG27. Unfortunately, I only have the volume on II/JG27.

I will see if I can find anything else and let you know if I can.
                Regards,
                Andy

                    Goood Job - Boys !!!

I think too - he dont earned a Iron Cross - so i think he dont have any Victorys...!

Its a verry late war soldier - and verry lucky to save his live - at this time the german Airforce are down at europe !!!!!

Why delete the thread? This is not the sales section ........ ....., leave it up, so others may study the set and learn. That is the nature of the Forum.
                        Regards,

He wanted the thread to be deleted as it was later for sale on the e-stand.

I agree with the fact that this is a nice fighter pilot document set to be viewed on WAF.
