need help w/ info on a dogtag

picked this up in a grouping of items from the eastern front... not personally. Was needing some help on any type of info about this dogtag. I did some searching but not much luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Tag seems to have the fonts that Rokas used.

Well known fakes made from original unissued tags that came on the market several years ago.

from a ebay user named Rokas...

In this case I didn`t think that this is a fake.
I have never seen Rokas tags from Ersatz units.

I don't think it is a fake because it came with a bunch of ground dug relics from Russia.

              Hello

right beside the dogtag, you can see a Hacken-Eisen (heel-iron ?) for shoes respectively boots.

It's Rokas type. Rokas stuff comes from Russia. Dug items came along.
Scrap this piece or keep it as a reference.

Why would someone throw in a fake dogtag of all things in with a bunch of ground dug relics. It included a helmet, gas mask with canister, mess kit, ccc appears to be silver, buttons, coins, iron cross, and a few other medals. What would you really gain with a dogtag that's been messed with? I wouldn't think it would make or break a sale.
                  thanks

Well considering the condition of the items in this lot this tag was added to add some value to this rubbish. I don't think if anybody would buy all these remainings otherwise.

And i guess this lot came with no provenance, paperwork describing the find, context etc.? ie. all the information needed to tie this in to a unit, battle and ultimately an individual.

and FWIW there was no Infanterie Ersatz Bataillon 329.
