    Saying hello

    Hi,
    Just a big hello to all forum members. I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I collect WW2 German documents especially Wehrpass and Soldbucher. I have been collecting for about 12 months.

    Welcome to the forum Larry,

    I am also a Soldbuch and Wehrpaß collector (groups as well!) and have been collecting only paperwork for 12 years.

    I am sure if you are stuck myself and other forum members will be able to answer your questions or point you in the right direction.

        Wellcome to the forum, but I think you must collect other pieces, what about Ballon Observer badges or something more easy to obtain and more glamourous than papers, they look so............ I think I'm not going to change your mind so wellcomed to the crazy band of the paper stuff, here you sure find a lot of info and a couple oo good friends. What you look exactly? and also, show us your little treasures.

            Personally, I find documents and Paybooks more and more interesting.

            Anyone who has anything regarding the Kleinkampfmittelverbände (small battle arms units of the Navy) for sale?

              There are tons of very knowledgeable people on this forum, especially in the realm of your collection interests. You came to the right place.

              I don't, however, collect Wehrpass or Solbuch's, but I do collect Erkennungsmarken - so if you ever need a hand with dog tags, I will happily lend whatever knowledge I have available!
