Hello to everybody. I recently found here in Italy a werhpass with me photos but added to them there was a Cech soldbuch i.e i think that our man did is compulsory military service as Ceck and then move to Heer.

and now what I discovered and please welcome anybody who can give me other details:

    Name : Alfred
    Surname : Wach
    Born: January 6th, 1912
Born place : Pardubice - one of the most beautiful towns in Eastern Bohemia. It lies in a plain at the confluence of the Elbe and the Crudimka rivers.
    Marital status: Single
    Blood type : A

Profession: ? he had an university degree but which one ?

Father : Wenzel Wach – he lived (page 4) in Kuttenplan (Chodová Planá) - Marienbad (Marianske Lazne).
I discovered that a Wach Wenzel ( is he ? ) was Oberlherer i.R. in Mies ( Stříbro (IPA: [ˈstr̝i:bro], German: Mies) is a town in the Pilsen Region of the Czech Republic, some 25 km (16 mi) to the west from the region capital of Pilsen.) and wrote a” Geschicte du Juden in Mies und Umgebunfg “ This was included in: Die Juden und Judengemeinde Bohmens in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart (The Jews and Jewish Communities of Bohemia in the past and present), edited by Hugo Gold, published in Brunn-Prague, 1934: Judischer Buch-und Kunst Verlag. Mies is close to Kuttenplan.
    Mother : ?? no idea
The werhpass was issued in Leipa May 10th, 1939 and Alfred was Ok with medical visit.
He was in Heeres-Flakartillerie-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Abteilung 273 – starting in Glogau.
    15-29/07/1942: The 2nd Panzer division was in SMOLENSK-KATYN. Il where I./Panzer-Regiment 3 was moved to Panzer-Regiment 33 ( 9. Panzer-Division). The 2nd division remained with only the II./Panzer-Regiment 3. L'Aufklärungs-Abteilung 5 became Kradschützen-Abteilung 24 and transferred to 24. Panzer-Division, but received the Heeres-Flak-Abteilung 273.
On February 11th, 1944 they moved to Prag, in the” Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren”.
Alfred had a medical visit on August 15th, 1944 that stated joints ( knees? ) injuries and scars related to abdomen surgeries so he was able only for limited service.
This could explain the red pencil that stopped the date at August 18th
One thing to be discovered is that back of the photos he wrote “Oxbol” and Oxbol it’sthe german name of OKSBOL in Denmark , South Jutlland.
But whe they go there ??
This could explain the red pencil that stopped the date at August 18th.
    Awards:
    a) Eisernes Kreuz (EK) II class
    b) Krieg Sverdienst Kreuz ( KvK) di I and II class
    c) Sportabzeichen gold
    d) Ostmedaille – so he was for sure between November 15th, 1941 and April 15th ,1942 on
the East front before to move to 2nd Panzer Division.

On page 7 it seems that he obtained a degree or something like that for “ Funkausbildung “– radio transmission ?

There was a big military training area in Oxbol during the war. That's most probably why the owner of your WP found himself there.
