well just a little addition to this Soldbuch, I asked in the community forum if there were any members who lived in Koln who might be able to take a photo of where Christian Schumacher used to live,

Thanks to Munster I now have a photo of where he lived when he was discharged in 1946

I'm again amazed at how the members of this group bring information together and help us all have a better understanding of the history we love. A simple picture of his home really adds to the human part of the story.
