I am new to the paper collection, I just purchased 2 arbeits buchs fur auslanders from a dealer and one daf buch. I got them for 60 for the 3 and all in in very good condtion. can any one tell me did I pay to much to little I have no idea what these go for. also I am looking for a sold buch and german arbietsbuch, thanks much

You have done just fine. Arbeitsbuch fur Auslander are now quite difficult to find - well certainly here in England.
The price of a Soldbuch depends on type,condition, servive, awards won etc but they are not cheap !!
Arbeitsbuch are very common (there are three types) and you should pick these up cheaply.
I would suggest that you take a look at Mannions - - they always seem to have a few on offer.

In essence - - only one "trades union" was permitted in Germany - - the Deutsche Arbeits Front (DAF) - - what I think you have from the description is a membership book. These are common but are often filled with interesting dues stamps and sometimes other entries too. Personally I like them and have amassed several dozen examples - all in some small way different - over the years.Comment
