Fantastic Sturmgeschutz Wehrpass.
Especially interesting is the entry for participation in the 19.8. 42 "Dieppe" battle. This entry has very special significance for Canadian collectors.
Interesting timing on the posting of this Wehrpass, as not long ago I was talking to a Canadian "Dieppe" veteran whose particiaption in the battle lasted all of a few minutes before he was hit 5 times by small calibre bullets. He awoke in an English hospital with no recollection of who assited him or of his return trip to England.
Again, a fantastic Wehrpass. Thank you for posting.

Ah, so you were the lucky one Thomas!
I went for this also....initially as he was a member of 1 Kavallerie Brigade/Division, also Gruppe Geheime Feldpolizei 570 and lastly the Stug unit!
Very interesting career!
For some reason but I do not know why, the photo is familiar to me!?!?!?!??!
