Uncomplete Waffen SS ID tag

Can someone give me a help with ID this EKM? Which is the SS Panzer Grenadier Ausbildungs und Ersatz Batalion ???. It got very similar font to SS-Pz. Gr. AuE. Btl. 12 . I will be very grateful for all suggest about the full name.

Of course it is possible that this tag come from the SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs und Ersatz-Batalion 12 but from nr. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18 and 23 too !

Unfortunetlly You are wrong. Most of SS units were got their own type of font used for marking ID tags. Three more thinqs - there was no ID tags with that kind of marking (type of font) - SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs und Ersatz-Batalion for: 1, 3, 5, 10, 18.

Second thinq - when You said 9 and 11 You got on Your mind SS Panzer Grenadier Ersatz Bataillon, did You? I hope so, becouse I can't remember SS ID tags like those above with numbers 9 and 11 at the end of SS Pz. Gren. AuE. Btl's.

And the last one - can You show me how looks ID tag of SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs und Ersatz-Batalion 2 ??

I found ID tag from Hitlerjugend with so similar font to this one from first post.

Hi just have a look on this one (found in 1987 in Halbe forest and -I think- from a soldier of Division "30 Januar". You will constate that in the same unit (SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs und Ersatz-Batalion 12) the tags can be differen

I must say that I've never seen ID tag from SS-Pz. Gren. AuE. Btl. 2, and 9, or 11 . Good for You. Whatever, the font is diffrent. Right now I've got sure that this 2/3 above ID tag is from Hitlerjugend. Same front.

What about "30 Januar". I've got two ID tags, one from R.D. Kurmark and secend from SS-Ers. Btl. Germania, which could also been in this unit. They were found in Poland, first in North (near city: RUMIA), secend, near Frankfurt (Oder). Kurmark was suppling 32. SS. "G" tag was found in place were 32. SS fought.

Hi, May be your tag come from Pz. Gren. A. u. E. Btl. 12 but it is not sure that from a soldier who was in "Hitlerjugend-Div.".
