Last one for the time being.....

A list of 30 Nahkampftage for a member Infanterie Regiment 29, 3 Infanterie Division fighting at Stalingrad.

Most of the entries are of defensive combat on or around hill 141.2 and 139.5 although there is mention of of capture of a train and 12 Flak guns in August 1942!

Unfortunately these hills were too far north or the combat he was involved in was not sufficient enought for the days to be counted for the CCC!

Wow Ian, those are great examples! I knew you had some great stuff squirreled away, too bad we didn't get a chance to have some of those beautiful groupings in the CCC book. Would loved to have had some of these in there. Maybe for the 2nd printing
