The 26th Pz Div Tradition Abzeichen thread was very interesting. If you have any other passbooks to share from different units showing similar entries please post. Does anyone have an entry for the 34th Infantrie Division Errinnnerugnsabzeichen? Thanks in advance.

I do have a Soldbuch and Wehrpass set to a long serving Cavalry Wachtmeister who originally served in Kav Regt 13. During Sept, 1944 he was with Pz Lehr Division, and later in Hungary with 3 Kav Div.

I do have a Soldbuch with assorted docs to a long serving member of 34. ID. He was with a Wachtmeister with them from 1939-45. No entry for a Errinnerungsabzeichen was ever made though.

Well, I found this other one, the 2.GJD Traditionsabzeichen.

Thanks again for sharing Jean-Yves. The small Sardinienschild doc is always nice to see. Over the years the doc has surfaced on the market from time-to-time. I would think that the badge would actually be much more scarce.
The 2. GJD badge entry though is just great. It is another badge entry I have never seen before in a passbook!
I have several nice photos of a Heer soldat who is wearing the chamois badge pinned on his jacket. It was worn by 5. GJD. From the photos it shows a scarce instance of an Traditionsabzeichen not being worn directly on a cap.
