    Help with Wehrpass

Hello again all, I would like some help with the information filled in on the following pages and also the units this guy served with and where abouts? I can work out the places on page 32 but not on page 33. The Wehrpass is complete. The missing pages in the following scans do not have any information on them. Sorry about there being 14 but I still haven't worked out how to put more than one on per posting. Thanks in advance, Wooly

                              Hi Wooly,

I will try to explain you page 33 and give you some informations:

                              Warndt

13.9.40 Teilnahme an der Besetzung Frankreichs.

                              This is the German text.
There are given some place names so as Maginotlinie = a strong fortified line of dugouts built by the French on the border to Germany to protect France.
The rivers Mosel and Rhein are named.
Saarabschnitt = part of the river Saar.
                              Mosel = river
Warndt = a great forrest area in the border area between Germany and France.
Finally your guy took part on the occupation of France.

Hope I could help you a bit.

                              Gerdan
