    Medical codes

    Hello,
I'm new to the forum, in fact this is my first post! I have a small collection of Wehrpass's and I was wondering if anyone had a list of the medical codes, which appear in them, which start with an 'A,B,L Or R' then a number.
I can't seem to find a list anywhere.
Thank you all very much for your time,
    Stewart

    Welcome aboard, Stewart.

Try clicking the forum SEARCH button and typing in "medical codes". I just did and got 21 hits. Some of the 21 threads may answer your question. Give it a try and see what happens.

    Good luck,

                Hello all,
Just thought you would be interested in this, which follows on from Ian's link to Medical Codes [lower link in post above]. Number 31 on the list is for 'Wounds and sickness due to enemy action', well I have a list which sub divides 31 into various types-
                31a- Bullet wounds
31b- Handgrenade, Mortar and Artillery wounds
                31c- Burns
31d- Bombing or other Air Attacks
                31e- Aerial Combat
                31f- Tetanus
                31g- Sepsis or Gangrene
I think I got this list from Gary T's old site.
                Thank you all once again,
                Stewart

The suffix for "wounds resulting from enemy action", I have never found in original documentation!
I have numerous original books detailing all aspects of admin, Wehrmacht Sanitäts Vorschrift, Krankheit Verzeichnis etc. but this is the only reference I have found taken from Die Krankheitnummern der ehemaligien Wehrmacht!
