    Hi,

I copied this answer from another Soldbuch questions answered by Edward and Ian Jewison.

    Quote:
    <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=6 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=alt2 style="BORDER-RIGHT: 1px inset; BORDER-TOP: 1px inset; BORDER-LEFT: 1px inset; BORDER-BOTTOM: 1px inset">Originally Posted by Edward
Merdock, page 3 certify's corrections made to pages 1 and 2. Page 4 can be broken down by the following in Heer Soldbuchs. Unlike Heer SB's Luftwaffe SB's do not have a Block D on page 4.
-Block A: military recruiting or reporting station.
-Block B: replacement and training units assigned.
    -Block C: field units.
    -Block D: training assignments.

    </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

    Slight ammendments....

Block A: military recruiting or reporting station.
Block B: replacement and training units assigned.
    Block C: field units.
Block D: current replacement unit for field unit. Does not necessarily mean that he served with that unit! If he did it should be shown in block B.....however it is not always correct!!!

    However Luftwaffe were:

Block A: military recruiting or reporting station.
Block B: unit or station assigned.
Block C: current replacement unit for field unit.

    /Ian

      Thank you very much, Eric.
So, did he fight at Gebirgsjäger Regiment 91?

Yes he served with the 14.Kompanie of Gebirgsjäger Regiment 91, before he was transferred to Ldschtz.Ers.Btl.7

Is there a way to know when he was transfered?

Carlos, the dates of transfer are listed in the Wehrpass (carried with the unit) and Wehrstammbuch (kept on file at his home unit) but not in the Soldbuch. Sometimes by careful comparison of award dates and promotion dates which are in the Soldbuch, this can be ascertained. The Soldbuch was carried with the soldier and that is why they often can look a bit ragged.
