U-boot Stamp in KM Wehrpass

Can anyone enlighten me regarding the significance of the red U-Boot High Command Stamp on this page? This is my first Kriegsmarine wehrpass so please pardon my ignorance.

Did this person serve on U-Boats? I see was Marine Artillerie from what you show............

Could be his unit was stationed in the same location.................. giving more information and showing more pages could enlighten people as to why it is there!!!

I only had time to scan that one page. I will certainly scan the rest. But, to answer your first question, this man was a Coastal Artillery man from what I have gathered thus far.
